BIO

Bruno Guimarães Bianchi is a partner in the firm’s Infrastructure & Regulatory and Arbitration & ADR departments. Bruno has been working intensely in the field of procurement contracts, focusing on legal advice in bidding procedures, public service concession contracts, public-private partnerships (PPPs), development and management contracts, as well as contracts with the Third Sector. He provides both consulting and litigation services involving infrastructure projects and has experience in other regulatory matters (representation before regulatory agencies), as well as arbitration proceedings. His work also extends to the anti-corruption area, with experience in administrative misconduct actions and in the execution of settlements with sanctioning bodies (Cease-and-Desist Agreements and Leniency Agreements). He is the Managing Director of the Administrative Sanctions Law Institute (IDASAN).

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in law from UFPR.
Specialization in Bidding Processes and Procurement Contracts from PUC-PR.
Specialization in Accounting and Tax Management from FAE Business School (interrupted)
Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Public Law from USP.

1^st Place in the XVIII of Administrative Law Conference of Paraná, held by the Paraná Institute of Administrative Law (IPDA). The article was entitled Improbidade Administrativa e o Dano Presumido ao Erário por Dispensa Indevida de Licitação (Administrative Misconduct and the Presumed Damage to the Treasury by Improper Waiver of Bidding Process), criticizing the current case law of the STJ.
